About the role

Duties and responsibilities

  • Your day-to-day duties will typically include:
  • Sales invoicing
  • Purchase invoicing
  • Processing expenses
  • Processing credit card statements
  • Fixed asset register
  • Bank account reconciliation
  • Processing data in our Xero accounting system (supplier invoices, staff expenses, etc.)
  • Other ad hoc duties as specified by the Finance Department

Required personal skills/attributes

You will be:

  • Meticulous, attentive to detail, and thorough
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to take instructions
  • Productive when working alone, or as part of a team
  • Confident with numbers and other numerical data
  • Computer literate, including having a basic command of Microsoft Excel
  • Organised, methodological, and able to prioritise work
  • Proactive and able to spot issues before they arise
  • Resilient, able to handle moderately pressured and busy situations, and meet deadlines
  • Able to communicate appropriately, and at the right level, both in person and on the telephone


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous relevant experience having worked in a finance department
  • A degree would be an advantage, but is not essential
