Inviqa acquires Webcredible to grow UX capabilities

By Inviqa

Digital consultancy Inviqa today acquired experience design and UX agency Webcredible to expand its customer and user experience capabilities in response to growing client demand.

Webcredible, whose client portfolio includes the likes of Virgin Trains, SSE, Age UK, and RBS, brings to Inviqa its 15 years’ expertise in customer and user experience design. With these expanded UX capabilities, Inviqa is primed to help its clients, which include Radley, Reiss, Virgin, Arsenal FC, and The National Theatre, to become more customer-centric in their business operations and in the way they approach digital initiatives.

Inviqa founder and CEO Yair Spitzer said: ‘Great design is ultimately about making things work really well for the customer, and companies that apply design principles to solve genuine business challenges are outperforming the competition. Today’s acquisition equips us to help more mid-market businesses compete with bigger players by embedding innovation and customer-centred thinking into everything they do’.

He added: ‘Helping organisations to deliver differentiated customer experiences requires a seamless blend of thinking and doing. That’s why our business consultants and technologists collaborate closely to support businesses all the way from digital strategy into product delivery, and beyond. With the addition of the Webcredible team we can help even more businesses to reach their customers in new and innovative ways’.

Webcredible CEO and founder Trenton Moss joins Inviqa today to focus on expanding Inviqa’s UX and design practice and helping clients grow their internal capabilities in these areas as they look to become more customer-centric organisations.

He said: ‘We’re super-excited to be joining Inviqa. More and more, our clients are looking for us to provide development capabilities, and gaining access to Inviqa’s developer teams will be hugely beneficial for ourselves and our clients. Webcredible brings to Inviqa our strategy, research, and design capabilities, along with access to a broad network of new partners, clients, and business opportunities. Together we can offer organisations a truly end-to-end service that underpins world-class customer experiences’.

With some 200 employees operating from offices in the UK and Germany, Inviqa has grown organically and through mergers and acquisitions made across the past ten years. The agency is a regular feature in Econsultancy’s Top 100 Digital Agencies Report and was shortlisted as Computing’s Digital Service Company of the year in 2017. Inviqa was recognised at the 22nd Annual Webby Awards with Phase2 for its work on Arsenal.com, which won the 2018 People’s Voice award in the sports category.
