Helping Teveo unify its complex tech stack to support growing demand

Teveo, the challenger sports-wear brand, is on a path for growth. Having already increased their annual turnover of €80m since its launch in 2019, the brand’s current BHAG is reaching €1bn in annual revenue by 2029. To achieve this ambitious goal, the brand needed to ensure their systems were able to scale with the increase in demand.

As part of this growth, Teveo had moved to a new distribution facility and needed to integrate a new warehouse management system (WMS) with its existing suite of software, including Shopify, an ERP and iPaaS. It was also imperative that they be fully operational ahead of their biggest sales event of the year: a two-week Black Friday promotion in just a few months’ time.

With no internal integration capability and a complex tech stack, Teveo turned to Inviqa to connect the dots and ensure everything worked seamlessly with its existing Shopify, ERP and iPaaS solution.

To kick off the engagement, Invqa’s consulting team conducted a comprehensive analysis of Teveo’s existing ("as-is") business processes to understand current operational workflows and system interactions. Building on this foundation, the team then mapped out both the "as-is" and "to-be" processes and data flows, using Business Process Modelling to identify the most logical and efficient pathways for data exchange across Teveo’s ecosystem. This included a detailed examination of how Shopify, NetSuite (ERP), SuPCIS (WMS), and the iPaaS solution supported Teveo’s business operations, as well as how these disparate systems could be integrated to enable seamless and scalable data flow.

Early in the process, we discovered that the existing iPaaS solution wouldn’t be suited for Teveo’s ambitions and growth plans. However, with a looming deadline, replacing the iPaaS at this stage wasn’t feasible.

Instead, our engineers immersed themselves in each system’s architecture to find a way to connect these systems despite different requirements for data structures and processes and enable data to flow reliably. This included building custom logic to handle order creation, fulfilment updates, stock synchronisation, and more.

The team also ensured that all integrations were tested well ahead of launch, giving Teveo confidence that the systems could handle peak demand.

The integration was completed on schedule, allowing for extensive stress testing and a smooth Black Friday launch. The system handled peak demand without issue, and the integration helped the Teveo team achieve their ambitious goal for the Black Friday campaign.
