Ecommerce platform Magento recognised Inviqa at the 2017 Imagine Excellence Awards for creating the Magento 2 store behind Graze’s online expansion.
Snack company Graze took home Magento’s ‘Growth Award’ which recognises brands that have experienced ‘significant sales growth over the past 12 months via channels powered by Magento’.
Since 2008 Graze has used technology to disrupt the snack industry and become the world’s number-one healthy snack brand. Its Magento 2 website, built and implemented by Inviqa, and hosted by Elastera, generated £3 million in incremental sales revenue in the first 12 months and offers customers an alternative to its subscription model.
CTO Mark Wood said: ‘When we looked at what we wanted to achieve, it was clear that using Magento Enterprise Edition 2 would allow us to test, learn, and iterate without betting the business’.
Richard Jackson, ecommerce practice director at Inviqa, collected Graze’s award at a ceremony during Magento Imagine 2017, alongside former Graze CTO Edd Read. He said: ‘We’re proud that Graze and Inviqa together launched one of the first sites in the world to pioneer the Magento 2 platform.
‘Key to our success was our “build, measure, learn” approach to development. We built the new site alongside the main Graze website, getting to market quickly so that Graze could start measuring and learning as soon as possible’.
