Betfair is one of of the most influential players in the betting industry. As part of its early push into online betting, Inviqa was appointed for a series of projects.

Our solution

The Inviqa team first created a Manchester United theme site for the brand, specifically targeting the football club’s biggest fans. It was designed to simplify the process of entering the online gambling market and made it easy for new users to sign up and place their bets from their own devices rather than having to travel to one of Betfair’s high-street outlets.

Inviqa was then invited to redevelop a CMS for Betfair’s developer program, which would give engineers access to Betfair’s own APIs and extensive history of data. Inviqa not only developed a new CMS that allowed Betfair to reuse and customise content in multiple locations, but also refreshed the site’s design to bring it in line with Betfair’s strong brand guidelines.

The results

The two projects have helped advanced Betfair to become one of the most digitally advanced bookmakers as it continues to evolve its traditional offline practices into the modern age.
