As of June 2016, we have unified our businesses in ecommerce (Session Digital), content management systems (iKOS) and software engineering (Inviqa) to create a new multi-discipline technology partner under the trusted Inviqa brand. All the existing people and services you love will continue as before.
Welcome to Inviqa, a technology partner that puts business first.
What is happening?
Session Digital, iKOS and Inviqa have consolidated to form a single new technology partner under the trusted Inviqa brand. The move combines each company’s domain expertise in ecommerce, content management systems and software engineering to offer comprehensive technology delivery services for growing organisations.
Why are we doing this?
Technology is redefining the way our clients keep ahead of their competitors and stay relevant to their customers. To help businesses better respond to modern digital challenges, the new Inviqa offers services across a range of disciplines.
Our three companies have grown and operated as a group for a number of years and unification has always been our eventual strategy. As our clients adapt to grow and better support their customers, so we need to evolve.
I’m not familiar with Inviqa. What is its background?
Over the past nine years, Inviqa has grown from scratch to become one of the largest independent software development companies in the UK, locally employing over 200 amazing people. Inviqa predominantly uses open source technology to help enterprise organisations like the BBC, Comic Relief, William Hill and the World Food Programme to develop web applications and IT systems to drive business growth.
Our Business First approach means that our clients get the benefit of truly added value services from the best digital delivery people out there. We help our clients with their efforts to engage, convert and retain their customers with a variety of digital implementation expertise.
Is this a restructure?
No. We have operated a shared services model for a few years already. Our day-to-day operations will remain the same and we’ll be based in the same offices. No one is losing their job. The people you know will still be here and we’ll continue to hire the best people to help us meet our clients business objectives.
We will be helping our marketing and finance initiatives by simplifying our messages and the number of limited companies we run.
